Each year, Scam awards the Roger Pic Prize (named after its instigator, a humanist and generous photographer, director and copyright activist) to the author of a photographic portfolio which documents reality and questions what is human with singularity.
The Roger Pic prize is awarded by Scam following a call for applications and is endowed with €5,000 by the Scam-Vélasquez association. In partnership with Fisheye magazine
It is the authors of the Scam Still Images commission who submit the preselection.
The jury is renewed every year. It is made up of the president of the Scam-Vélasquez association, members of the preselection committee and external personalities belonging to the world of photography, including if possible the winner of a previous edition.
Registrations are open until November 26, 2023.
