The Forma Foundation for Photography presents for the first time in Milan’s history a Robert Mapplethorpe retrospective, an artist who is both controversial and an undisputed master in the history of photography. The 178 images come directly from the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation. Among the series in the selection: Polaroids, Self-portraits, Bodies, Flowers, Portraits, his friend and muse Patti Smith, and a lesser known series of Children.
