In 1999, Aurélien Arbet and Jérémie Agry met in Grenoble and began work ing together as aa-je. Hyperactive, curious and complex, they’re interested in everything, specially image manipulations. In their work, the image is sometimes sculpted to offer the illusion of volume, and sometimes prefigured by sculpture.
In 2007, they founded Je Suis une Bande de Jeunes : JSBJ, an independent publishing house specializing in contemporary photography.
