Name : Rabi Rashmi Roy
Age : 39 years
Nationality : Indian
Place of residence : Calcutta, India.
Project title : Old Calcutta
About : I grew up in this city. I have spent my childhood days in the old lanes, alleys and backstreets. Then came the real-estate boom. The city is now being rebuilt at a rapid pace and very soon, Calcutta of my childhood will just remain in memory.
These photographs are my attempt to preserve the old character of the city – its geometry, colours, serpentine lanes, bend and corners.
