Katrin Backes, 32, is a German photographer. She has lived in London and Lyon, France, where she studied photography. She graduated from the École des Gobelins in Paris, then served as an assistant photographer for the Cat studio. Since 2010, she has worked as a freelance photographer with different designers, stylists and magazines. In 2011 she was a finalist for the Prix Picto de la Jeune Photographie de Mode. Her work appeared in a February 2012 exhibition at the Galerie 208 in Paris.
