Karolina Trawinska is a Polish photographer. In 2000, she moved to Paris to work as a model. For the next five years she traveled across the world, working with different photographers and experiencing different cultures. Finding the life of a model empty and superficial, she began experimenting with self-portrait and discovered photography. She learned the secrets of the craft by working as an assistant photographer, then as a photographer herself, performing tests for models and young designers. Since 2010, she has worked full-time as a photographer in Paris.
