Born in Brittany, France, Michel Nafziger got his start in photography as a photographer’s assistant in Paris working for French Vogue. He then spent two years in San Francisco, where he earned the Merit Award Scholarship of the Academy of Art College. His professional career as an independent photographer began in Paris. He started working for magazines Lei, Per Lui, 20 ans, Marie Claire, ID, Elle and Vogue, in fashion photography and doing portraits of celebrities. Theses images are part of ongoing projects aside from his commercial work. Michel Nafziger spends his time between Paris and New York.
