Pierre-Yves Rospabé was born in 1955 in Brest in Finistère. It is therefore quite naturally the ocean and the landscapes of the coast of his native BRITTANY, but also those of NORMANDY (where the family home is located near MONT SAINT MICHEL) which arouse his first inspiration: shores with changing lights, lighthouses , sails, graphics of colored hulls, reflections… reflect his dual passion for the sea and photography.
