Littoral
Definition (Le Robert)
Relating to the contact zone between land and sea.
The coastline is both a source of romance due to the presence of the sea and marked by the imprint of man whose works can sometimes distort this fragile environment.
In Littoral, I take a look at this narrow zone using a minimalist approach, devoid of negative social connotations in order to restore a feeling of tranquility and simply reveal beauty.
In this photographic approach, human elements are not seen as intrusions into the natural landscape, but rather as complements to it, sometimes going so far as to completely obscure it.
Soft colors and subtle contrasts reinforce the calm and meditative atmosphere of these photographs.
