The Gwinzegal Art Center, the Museum of Brittany and the Association Bretagne Musées are joining forces this Saturday, September 23rd in Guigamp, France, for a day of discussions, entitled Photographic heritage – a race against time. Studies will question the place of photographic heritage in photography today, in its artistic production as much as in its intellectual and museum exploitation.
This study day will bring together Nathalie Boulouch (lecturer in history of art and photography, Université Rennes 2), François Cheval (exhibition curator and former curator of the museum Nicéphore-Niépce), Gwenola Furic (photography restorer) Céline Chanas (Curator of the Museum of Brittany), Pascale Laronze (Paper Company Theater), Anne Delrez (founder of La Conserverie in Metz), Michel and Nicole Sohier Catherine Cottin (responsible for preventive conservation at the departmental archives of the Orne) and the artists Stéphanie Solinas and Mathieu Pernot David Fathi.
