Soun Sayon is every day on construction sites and his work leads him to be permanently in relation with the construction workers. Thus, he decided to make their portrait by having them pose with their tools, which designate their specialty. While digital image is everywhere he decided to work with Polaroid, but also with black and white film, to avoid any anecdote that could be given by color and to demonstrate his attachment to photography. His classical, frontal portraits, attentive to the light, highlight the looks and bring him closer to the workers he meets and allow him to better know and better understand them.
