Man and the Sea
We do not go to the beach.
We go to the sea.
That’s how we say in Marseille. This idea that the landscape is mental perhaps explains this expression which salutes the maritime kingdom.
The coastline unfolds in the mineral chaos creeks, along gigantic harbor facilities and only very rarely softens in a dream of seaside lightness and sandman.
So here we are in a no place. That of the Prado beaches, an expanse torn from the sea, it
40 years ago. The opportunity to get rid of the millions of cubic meters of land from the subway construction site. And to kill two birds with one stone: the inhabitants of the northern neighborhoods will be able to afford each day a few hours of holidays in southern districts.
