Jeff Dunas sent us this message and candid shots after we could include them in yesterday’s tribute edition to Peter Lindbergh.
Here they are today:
“Yesterday we lost a giant. A man with a massively big heart and immense career. A big family man who loved women and forged his own way of seeing them for all of us. He took us from the over made-up, over-styled fantasy view of women to his cinematic, real beauty that changed how we see and love them forever. Peter left us yesterday and left a giant, enormous vacuum in his wake. A light went out yesterday. At the Palm Springs Photo Festival 2017 he spent an intense four days with his master class without taking a picture and at the end there were tears and hugs. No one from that class will ever forget the experience. We will miss you Peter.” – Jeff Dunas
