Introduction
Magnum Gallery represents the entire group of Magnum photographers, members, founders and estates. Through more than sixty years of famous and historical cooperative, several generations of photographers are claiming their photographical engagement. The Magnum history has driven photojournalism to documentary, from black and white icons to the last contemporary creations.
What is your point of view on the financial side of the photographic market today?
The interest in photography continues to grow.
This year, the great stories of photojournalism consort with contemporary works that embody a new documentary approach.
Taking subjects that would once have been considered humanist, today’s photographers use their photographs to raise awareness. These images are signs of our times. They are presented in limited-edition book, organized like a tour through an exhibition, and fit for the collector’s bookshelf. Valérie Fougeirol
