Introduction
Founded in 1977, Hamiltons is the UK’s foremost photography gallery. Owner Tim Jefferies has run the business since 1984, specialising in mid and late twentieth century masters such as Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts and Robert Mapplethorpe, among others. Jefferies has the distinction and honour of working closely with, and representing, many of the greatest photographers of our time. In addition he continues to seek out and present established contemporary masters like Guido Mocafico, Roger Ballen, Alison Jackson, Erwin Olaf, Albert Watson and Miles Aldridge. Jefferies is also involved in advising private and corporate collections on the very best acquisitions.
