Located on the Rue de Chabanais in the heart of Paris and across the street from one of the city’s most famous former brothels, La Galerie Au Bonheur du Jour is the only gallery in Paris—and probably the world—to specialize in 19th and 20th-century erotic photography, objects and paintings. Curiosity and passion have always guided Nicole Canet, a former music hall performer, who opened the gallery in 1999 as an expansion of her popular booth at the Marché Dauphine in Saint-Ouen.
