Dedicated to the work of young European photographers, the festival Circulation(s) returns from January 24th through March 8th with a dynamic program of roundtables, screenings and portfolio reviews at the CENTQUATRE in Paris.
Circulation(s) Turns Five
The fifth edition features the work of students from Athens Greece and its School of Art and Photography. Come see the Breadfield gallery from Malmö, Sweden, Nathalie Herschdorfer’s “carte blanche,” and the jury’s selection. There’s also Little Circulation(s), which takes a playful and creative approach to the series in the main exhibit by adapting them for children, who can also receive personal tours through the show.
This year’s program combines the work of 21 young European photographers in a large-scale exhibition. Each artist responded to a call for submissions, which were presented to a jury of professionals led by the art historian and independent curator Nathalie Herschdorfer.
The festival also offers an overview of young artists from Spain, Poland, Italy and the Czech Republic.
L’Oeil de la Photographie, a media partner of the festival, is devoting today to the coverage of the event.
