Skate Moss is a combination of Jeff Gaudinet’s job as a graphic designer and his past as a skateboarders. In May 2012, Jeff launched a Tumblr where users could contribute designs of skateboards featuring pictures of Kate Moss. The site became so popular that Jeff decided to select the best submissions and exhibit them in a Geneva gallery from August 31 to September 7, 2013. The collaborative process of Skatemoss combines digital and analogue technology.
Graphic designer Jeff Gaudinet is the creator of collaborative artistic project Skatemoss. After receiving his Masters in marketing in France, he lived in Los Angeles for three years and studied graphic design, photography and styling. He works primarily in the luxury (fashion, perfume, wine and spirits) and cultural domains. He’s known for possessing a design eye that accounts for multiple supports without compromising any single one. Since 2012, Gaudinet has been giving talks in Fashion Design at the School of Art and Design in Geneva (HEAD).
