The head of the photography section of at the Ministry of Culture clearly presented the challenges and opportunities of the photographic ecosystem in the years to come. France can no longer work alone, but must contribute, along with its European partners, to achieve this ambitious and attractive goal.
Daniel Barroy graduated at the Political Science Institute of Paris and was a student at the School of National Administration (ENA). Since, he’s occupied a series of prestigious Administration posts, including Cultural Affairs Monitor in 1995. In 2010 he began working as Chief of Photographic Missions, a position created by the General Director of Heritage. It is this post that inspired the Arago portal.
