Jonas Cuénin, one of our New York contributors, has a passion for Irving Penn, and in particular one of the photographer’s most famous series : Small Trades. Jonas Cuénin launches a web serie, “Of Pictures and Men” (Des images et des hommes) in tribute to that series, and dedicate his project to all those in the world of photography who never had the chance to be in the spotlight. Every two weeks, his videos will offer a vision into the lives of these photography lovers. Today’s subject is Robert Stevens, professor at the School of Visual Arts of New York and the International Center of Photography, former photo editor at Time and specialist in photojournalism, especially the work of James Nachtwey.
