The demonstrations for Kathua rape were held by members of International Institute of Management, Bangalore community on April 21st. The girl who was raped and killed was only 8 years old in Kashmir. From old to young everyone has been moved by such an atrocious, inhumane event. An ordinance has been passed by the government of India to award death penalty to anyone who is found guilty of raping a person under the age of 12. There were many demonstrations that were held across the country. While being part of this awareness campaign was very powerful, I created this photostory so it can reach a broader audience.
