Remains
Remains presents a series of architectural objects as diverse as they are varied. it begins at the foot of a monumental staircase and ends with a simple damaged low wall next to which stands a majestic decapitated palm tree. These architectures, each with a very specific functionality, come from different periods and have been photographed in France, Greece, Tunisia and elsewhere… Although each image affirms the singularity of each object in a particular environment, it emerges from the whole series a strange timeless atmosphere by which the world seems to belong to the past.
