The Théâtre de la Photographie et de l’Image de la Ville in Nice is holding an exhibition of the work of French photographer Patrick Swirc. It runs through May 24th, 2015, and features Swirc’s portraits and never-before-seen personal work, including series on fashion, spirits, the mothers of the dead, and North Korea. Swirc studied at the École de Photographie in Vevey, Switzerland, after high school. In Paris, he started shooting portraits and working for magazines like Libération, Next, Télérama and Elle. Every portrait is an icon.
