“In the same way that it must have been great to be a musician when the first electric guitar and rock’n roll appeared half a century ago and shook the Establishment, it is just so interesting to play with photography nowadays.
Even I can’t explain what my photography is exactly about, yet I want it to be as free as any other Art form, not only in the subject but also in the processing and in the showing.
For me the street is like a gigantic flea market, full of things that will end up disappearing unless someone notices them. I use my camera to collect visual fragments that reflects the vanishing or ephemeral nature of our time and I turn them into artworks so they last a little bit longer. Call it recycling, documenting, collecting, conceptual or experimental… it is somewhat a bit of all this! Photography is an amazing toy to play with and create, and I really intend to enjoy it my own way.”
