Andrew Dosunmu currently lives and works in New York. Raised and educated in Nigeria, Dosunmu began his career as a design assistant at the fashion house of Yves Saint Laurent. He has subsequently worked as a creative director and fashion photographer whose images have appeared in a variety of international magazines. Besides a career in photography, Dosunmu is also active in film and television.
With their masks, hood, sunglasses or mirror all real life accessories to twist the reality, and “play” the the game of appearance, Andrew Dosunmu’s Heroes, in his photographs and in his movies are beautiful in the light, and amazingly desirable.
