The exhibition L’accroche-cœur (the lovelock) invites us to travel through the activity of the gallery Suzel Berna / NCE Photographie Contemporaine, from 1989 to the beginning of the 2000s. It tells of an epic, a history of photography in the process of being written. and gradually entering the art market, at the end of a century in full mutation with the advent of digital technology which was looming.
L’accroche-cœur, Voyages dans la collection de Nathalie Casabo-Emprin is organized like a poetic stroll through the main collective or personal exhibitions. So many projects that reflect the wealth of photographic techniques used by photographers of this period [bichromate erasers, palladium prints, polaroid transfers, etc.], and the diversity of artistic approaches to question the world.
