“The beautiful years of fashion, joyful in creativity, were from 1980 to 2000 for photography. At that time, everything seemed fantastic to me and the designers were immensely creative, all different from each other, whether Dior, Paco Rabane, Cardin, Lapidus, Courrèges… Now the fashion shows are extraordinary, set up in incredible settings, there has been a real leap forward. The only thing I regret perhaps is that we have lost the touch of madness that there once was, today the models parade with very closed faces.”
