The exhibition is a pure marvel.
It can be seen until December 12.
The Musée des Arts Décoratifs presents an exhibition of its photographic collections, revealed to the public for the first time. This exceptional heritage collection, with more than 350,000 phototypes, brings together photographs of fashion, architecture, landscape, decoration, but also advertising, ranging from the 1840s to the most recent creations.
“Histoires de Photographies” retraces, through 400 original and negative prints, a century and a half of photographic stories immortalized by great names such as Eugène Atget, Laure Albin-Guillot, Dora Kallmus, better known under the name of Madame d’Ora , Man Ray, Cecil Beaton, Robert Doisneau, Bettina Rheims, David Seidner …
And following the circuit, you will discover a Bourdin, a Sieff or an unknown Jonvelle!
Do go, it’s a real treat!
