This young Indian photographer questions the relationship between women, their bodies and their sexuality. How do they view their bodies? What are the sexual taboos they face? And what are the reasons, conscious or unconscious, that lead these women to break those taboos?
The photographs of Andrea Fernandes are accompnies by texts by women who have shared their experiences, forming a powerful account of the way they give into their impulses, and how society views them.
Andrea was born in 1984. She lives and works in Mumbai.
