Scottish photographer Soo Burnell returns to Molitor to present a new chapter of her bestselling Poolside series.
The Into the Blue exhibition guides the viewer through five magnificent Parisian swimming pools.
From the color blocks of Molitor to the “piano key” tiles of Butte-aux-Cailles; from the geometric reflections of the Piscine de Bagneux to the superb natural light of the Piscine George Hermant and through the rebirth of the Piscine des Amiraux, the Into the Blue exhibition takes us on an architectural journey that spans decades, but which brings us back to this universal joy: the feeling of fullness when we enter the water.
“I wanted to create a collection of Parisian swimming pools in the similar way to the series I shot in my hometown of Edinburgh in Scotland.
