Abstraction
Abstract expression aims to divert our perception of reality in order to transcribe a cerebral representation, an imaginary world or a graphic creation.
Using images taken from a variety of locations, abstract creation can be constructed using photographic combinations.
This approach does not involve the use of digital tools, but simply the creation of an assemblage of images. Images of architecture, materials, urban signs and graffiti, cropped, diverted, juxtaposed or symmetrically organised, give rise to new, perfectly abstract images.
