BritRail to Liverpool
During recent traveling through England via BritRail I spent several days in Liverpool. The Chambers of Commerce there promotes its museums, cultural diversity, friendly people, birthplace of The Beatles, the mythical Liver bird, and maritime heritage. Liverpool’s dark history is in full display at The Slavery Museum. Like major cities everywhere, Liverpool is also noted for its population of unhoused individuals. As global pressures mount, this Pandora’s Box of modern living continues to expand.
