Pierce the secret life of cats and follow them out in the country, on the lookout in an undergrowth, languid under the moon or running towards the horizon in a field of tall grass … Under the unique gaze of Mélani Le Bris each photo gives us a part of the true nature of cats, and each is a world.
With texts by Ananda Devi, Hubert Haddad and Carole Martinez, masterfully inspired by this previously unseen invitation to travel .
“The photos of Mélani Le Bris’s cats are striking. Under her gaze and her lens, these felines belong to the cat family of Edgar Poe, Baudelaire, to the magic cats, mysterious, inhabited by occult powers, in an almost mystical communion with nature, with the world. We find ourself to be small, when meeting such cats, they give the feeling to know more about man and life than we know about them, haloed as they are in their secrets or their impenetrable presence . Frédéric Vitoux, of the French Academy
“They opened the door to me and I followed them to the other side of the mirror. »Melani Le Bris
