MED puts up the landscape: uncrowded beaches, a city with thousands stories to tell and walls to make it.
Med brings professionals: Ricardo Cases, Susana Vera, Antonio Xoubanova, Mónica Lozano, Axelle
Fossier y Flama Visual, among them… all of them, photo lovers, with national and international renown ,
and willing to explain what is behind their photos and what they can see in yours. Close and accessible photographers.
They will present their pictures in Águilas from june 22nd to july 20th
Free access , the photographers will act as guides and will explain their own works…

Belleza de barrio – Ricardo Cases

Ricardo Cases (1971, Orihuela, Alicante). Degree in Information Science at Bilbao University. He has published some photography books. One of them “Paloma al aire” was considered the best book of 2011 by TIME. Cases is now covering republican presidential primary for TIME.
Casa de campo – Antonio Xoubanova/strong>

Antonio Xouvanoba studied Photography in Madrid and he is one of the promoters of Blank Paper group. He has
received several awards in Spain. “Casa de campo” is his last work that will be presented in Águilas, during the
MED. These pictures will be published in 2013 by Mack editorial.
Fashion victim – Carlos Alba/strong>
Centro Comercial a´ guilas Plaza
Carlos Alba (Madrid, 1984). He studied the higher degree of image in Madrid. He has received several awards and scholarship and his pictures has been shown in Paris. He works for an important national newspaper
El Mundo and other magazines like Woman, Arquitectura y diseño or Mia. Carlos Alba has a blog called “Bubble
Club” about photography and design.

Axelle Fossier (1977, Aix-en-Provence, Francia). She lives and works in Madrid. Artistic Photographer, she uses her camera to shown her feelings. From 2004, her works have been shown at national e international major exhibitions in prestigious
galleries and museums in Francia, España and China.
