Conceived March 14 in the afternoon, ultrasound confirms on July 13 that it’s a girl, named Mathilde the day after, born December 2, 1988, in Metz, France. As a child, she lived in the world of Walt Disney and thought her mother might be Mary Poppins. It was a world she would refuse to leave: “I don’t want to grow up, papa! Do we have to grow up?”
Mathilde’s school: daily adventures.
No time for homework, too much to do between dance, rowing, theatre, playing and, especially, dreaming…
Mathilde was very busy indeed: “This child is an artist,” said her dear grandmother Juliette.
Photography? Yes, because it’s an artform.
Her secret? Every day a new idea.
What drives her? Her imagination.
