He started working as a professional photographer aged 18, and his passion soon imposed itself as a decisive goal for the rest of his career. In 2013, he joined the prestigious Les Gobelins school in Paris where he took courses in aesthetics, photography and fashion to polish his talent and refine his approach.
Fauque plays with light as he seeks a vintage feel, a roundness and fullness that creates the visual harmony that fascinates him so much. His photographs are immersed in an atmosphere of smooth, soft, subtle colours.
He revels in capturing the expression that lights up a face and reveals the truth of an instant. As a savvy explorer, he knows where to find hidden places that often go unnoticed. Better still, he knows how to flatter places, seeking to encapsulate their atmosphere, reacting to what reality has to offer, decoding it and taking away the best.
