The Galerie Madé (Paris) presents Maia Flore. Maia’s work is a study on coincidences between our world and our imagination. Sleep Elevations, her first series of photographs, reveals an aerial plane where young girls float in a state between dreaming and awakening, and seem to fly above endless landscapes, above snow, sand, city. With Big Head Poetry, the atmosphere remains curious, but the romantic, never-ending landscapes are replaced by the classic décor of a photography studio. Surrealist, anonymous portraits constitute the series. Maia Flore was born in France in 1988. She currently lives and works in Paris. A graduate of the École des Gobelins in Paris.
