I’ve been working for L’Oeil de la Photo for almost nine years. Over the years, I’ve got to know several photographers whose particular universe I love. I haven’t had the opportunity to see their work live, but it’s only a matter of time.
Their work speaks to me, challenges me, makes me think, attracts me and inspires me.
Among these photographers, I’m thinking of Anja Niemi, whose photos all tell a story, as if they were taken from a film, as if the characters were caught in the act.
I also love Karen Knorr’s universe, which is poetic, meticulous, soft and always surprising.
And last but not least, Marie Cécile Thijs for her sophisticated and inspired work.
