On the footsteps of her father, Lina Scheynius started photography as she was 10 years old with first models being : her life, everyday life, a cake, her friends. These original subjects endure in her photographs which editings, cleverly elaborated, can be read as a diary. Lina loves : traveling, Sweden, the night, to discuss with her boyfriend, her sister’s cats, movements, falling in love.
For « les éditions be-pôles », Sarajevo’s sensitivity called her. She gives us a transparent vision, slightly acid, private and eminently feminine of this city scared by war.

Lina Scheynius was born in Sweden in 1981. Settled in Paris, she is nowadays constantly travelling between London and Sweden, both real sources of personal inspiration.
