The names of the 5th edition of KL PhotoAwards 2013 have been announced on June 1st at Galeri Petronas in Kuala Lumpur where the awarded finalists exhibition is on show till June 26th.
This year two categories were listed with the tagline contest “Take me, seriously”: Portraits Single and Smartphone Story. The top three winners from each category was invited to the awarded exhibition opening in Kuala Lumpur and awarded with a cash prize and sponsored camera accessories.

PORTRAITS SINGLE
1st prize : Supranav Dash, USA – Master Band – Party Boys, $6
2nd prize : David Chancellor, South Africa – Hunter with giraffe, Ladysmith, South Africa
3rd prize : Lim Li-Ling, Malaysia – Lui Te Hwa, Hokkien Wayang extra actor
Highly Commended : Chong Weilun, Singapore – Please Mind The Gap
