The name of this duo of young photographers gets away with hiding their nationality. Massimiliano Boschini and Mauro Manuini are two Italians and also experts in disguise. Judge for yourself: They mainly shoot unhealthy, destroyed and collapsed places. However, they manage to disguise the striking ugliness. With a typically Italian talent, they anesthetize the old stone, magnify the old and give it an incredible charm. But their approach has nothing to do with the romantics that would be in exstacy in front of the roman ruins. Nor with their heirs, the legions of mystics melted in to the industrial landscapes on the border of inhumanity. Boschini and Maunuini make decay look funky.
