The 2017 Zeiss Photography Award has a winner. Belgian photographer Kevin Faingnaert won the award given by the World Photography Organization. The jury awarded its Føroyar, a journey based on the life of Faroe Islands people, living on the distant island located between Norway and Iceland.
The jury chose over more 32,000 photographs, submitted by approximatively 5,000 artists from 132 countries. Kevin Faingnaert received € 12,000 to spend on ZEISS equipment and a € 3,000 grant to complete a photographic project.
