Having seen Kuldīga for the first time, I was inspired to make a story about the young generation growing up here. Kuldīga is a small town, and I assumed that the young people must be pretty bored living here. When I got in conversation with some boys and girls I met at the town beach, I was surprised to find out that they were anything but bored! So how do they entertain themselves, how do they escape the life routine?… I was advised to concentrate on the young people who were born after the fall of Soviet Union and don’t know what the life in the USSR was like.
