We know Julien Baer for his music, we didn’t know he was also a photographer. He will be at the Elysée Museum this summer. Here are some pictures and his text.
“The first picture I took was a close-up view of shoes next to a pair of blue jeans thrown on the ground. I was 16 and thought I had found something. What a deception when I developed them! THE picture was totally uninteresting, even pretentious.
I stopped taking pictures even though I had just begun.
Then I fell in love with music, songs, and riding on my motorcycle.
Perhaps it was that last hobby that helped train my eye. Years later when good digital cameras at reasonable prices were available, I tried again. But then I was more satisfied, and I didn’t have to wait to see the result!
It appeared that I was able to capture the world in a way that echoed what I was feeling.
The topics are varied because everything interests me, the infinite variety of forms and colors that surround us.
Here is “What I see”.
