One Hundred Photographs
A selection of images taken from One Hundred Photographs (1988) were shot during Claridge’s travels around the world and feature jazz musicians, Native Americans, slate mines, prisons and still lifes.
East London
The oldest of these photographs, which span from 1959 to 1986, were taken when Claridge was only 15 and living in a poor East London neighborhood. A few of them were exhibited for his first solo exhibition, when he was 17, at the McCann-Erickson gallery
