Nocturnals
At night, the bustling streets of the cities offer to our eyes real colorful pictures, with colors that explode in the light and contrast with the darkness.
I use this chiaroscuro to make shots of which I hope the pictorial composition will be strong.
I build them in my viewfinder, a little like paintings.
But unlike the painter, I must act quickly, often very quickly, to compose.
Finally, it is with the combination of several technical elements, and often the unexpected, that the photo will evoke (or not evoke) a painting.
Here are 15 photographs I took in Toulouse, some of which remind me of paintings.
