(A tribute to Franz Kafka)
Some virtual encounters are just as memorable as ‘live’ ones. My encounter with the work of Franz Kafka and the character himself is one of those.
His universe, at once dreamlike and absolutely realistic, creates a unique and singular world. Rarely a work becomes one with its author. His life is his work and his work is his life, so much so that writing seemed to him to be his only lifeline.
On the occasion of the centenary of his death, I would like to pay tribute to him with this extract from a work I started a long time ago.
