Mediterranean Perspectives
The fruit of erratic journeys and ephemeral encounters along the water’s edge, in Mediterranean lands and islands not necessarily far away, Perspectives reveals strange scenes.
People merging in a space that has become a refuge, others meditating before the immensity; actions and a certain theatricality at times, a desire to forget oneself and everyday life more often than not.
The coastline appears here as a discreet, sensitive place where we abandon ourselves, where we recharge our batteries and rediscover the true breath of life.
In perspective, the plant life, isolated and fragile, reveals itself as profoundly human, transforming the approach to these shores into a possible initiatory journey.
Faced with an environment that reads like poetry, all the photographer had to do was make a “stopover in the life of the seasons” and humbly and respectfully compose a few photographs.
