It was midnight and eight minutes, an email:
“Hello Jean-Jacques,
Terrible news to announce. Jean-Claude has left us today.
In an artificial coma, he did not suffer.
I know you, his friends of photography will regret him. ”

Jean-Claude was a passionate photographer, a committed journalist and one of the founding members of the Arles Festival.
We had dedicated a whole day to him, not long ago.
