Portraits of Abyssinia
Ethiopia is one of the most fascinating countries in Africa.
From the ethnic groups of the Omo Valley to the Afar territory of the Dallol Desert, passing through the former Christian Kingdom of the Queen of Sheba, the peoples so diverse and the multiple beliefs (Christians, Muslims and Animists) coexisted peacefully until to the war in Tigray and showed a tolerance that many countries could envy.
I have made two trips there and sincerely hope that a peaceful solution emerges from this conflict to return there because we have never finished grasping the richness of this magnificent country.
